Your new role
Producing monthly reporting packs that include, headlines P&L, balance sheet, aged debt analysis, historical cashflow analysis, cashflow forecast and client specific analysisProviding relevant commentary and variance analysisOperating as a finance business partnerProviding commercial finance support to help clients achieve their business objectivesCritically reviewing the P&L and balance sheet reportsCommunicating financial data to non-financial client contactsAssisting with preparation of budgets and forecastsPreparing audit schedules and assisting auditors during fieldworkPreparing, posting or reviewing month-end journalsPreparing the balance sheet reconciliations to support the trial balanceConfirming and reconciling intercompany balancesManaging the treatment of foreign currency in the accounts where requiredPreparing or reviewing cashflow forecastsResponsible for Treasury management and day to day cash managementPreparing and electronic filing of the VAT returnManaging virtual or direct teams to deliver excellent service to clientsContinuously reviewing, evaluating and improving internal controls
What you'll need to succeed
Recently qualified with ICAEW, CIMA or ACCA - this might be your first or second role post-qualification (we would also consider part-qualified candidates) A Graduate, result of 2:1 or above in any subjectA solid understanding of end-to-end financial processes and controlsExperience preparing monthly Management AccountsHighly presentable, numerate, confident and outgoing with excellent communication skillsStrong systems users, including ExcelExperience in practice or within the technology industry would be an advantage.Ability to communicate, collaborate and work as part of a friendly and driven team
