Do you have the skills to support and mentor young people, helping them overcome barriers to learning and reach their full potential? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Student Support Mentor!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as an adult role model, promoting and safeguarding the welfare of pupils in line with CSET/School policies.
  • Identify, plan, and provide high-quality support for vulnerable students.
  • Develop and implement individual and small group mentoring programmes.
  • Collaborate with school staff, parents, and external agencies to support students.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of interventions on student progress, behaviour, and self-esteem.
  • Liaise with families to address personal, community, and school-based issues affecting students.
  • Support the Behaviour Lead in monitoring attendance and identifying child protection concerns.
  • Maintain confidential records and provide reports to the senior leadership team.
