Commercial Manager required. My client is a leading firm in UK's waste management space and is now looking to hire an experienced Commercial Manager to bolster their Sittingbourne office. The ideal candidate will come from a Commercial Management background, have direct waste management experience, will have impacted commercial change in their previous businesses and will be based within a commutable distance of Sittingbourne.

Position Overview
- Managing and sourcing all wood tonnages required to meet company contracts
- Manging and sourcing all RDF/SRF off-take arrangements
- Organising shipping from the company's dock processing facility for all waste wood and RDF/SRF off-take requirements
- Taking responsibility for managing all aspects of the company's waste recycling contract with Kent County Council
- Taking a lead in expanding the company's involvement with UK paper mills
- Managing the commercial assistant to implement commercial strategies as listed above
- Some travel may be required

Position Requirements
- Previous experience in a commercial-led environment essential
- Proven track record of impact commercial change and achievements
- Previous experience in the waste management industry advantageous
- Experienced in Operational / Managerial settings
- Based within a commutable distance of Sittingbourne
- Full drivers Licence
Commercial Manager Position Remuneration
- Salary £40,000 - £50,000
- Monday - Friday: 08:30 - 17:30
- 33 Days holiday inclusive of public holidays
- Pension
