Customer Service Executive

OA are recruiting for a Customer Service Executive to join our client's highly successful and growing team.

The job holder will promote Property Redress Scheme to prospects, handle all membership applications and inquiries, and provide exceptional customer service and administrative support.

The successful candidate will possess excellent telephone skills, meticulous attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a confident, driven attitude.

Location: Borehamwood

Hours: Full-time, 9am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday. Hybrid working: 3 days in the office and 2 days from home after a successful 6-month probation period.

Salary: Up to £26,000

Customer Service Executive- Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound calls and system notes.
  • Manage Membership and general emails.

Membership:

  • First point of contact via email, post, and phone.
  • Respond to Membership enquiries within agreed timescales.
  • Contact leads and Members for renewals.
  • Provide weekly lists of non-renewed Members.
  • Manage cancellations, refunds, and Membership amendments.
  • Handle compliance issues and chase renewal payments.
  • Respond to compliance-related enquiries.

Sales:

  • Convert enquiries into memberships.
  • Assist with website enquiries.

General:

  • Support PRS product development.
  • Stay updated on the property market.
  • Maintain a prospect Members list.
  • Attend trade shows and events.
  • Provide additional support for smooth PRS operations.
  • Take and distribute meeting minutes confidentially.

Customer Service Executive - Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent English and math skills
  • Outstanding customer service and telephone manner
  • Experience in a multi-channel contact centre
  • Attention to detail and high-quality standards
  • Knowledge of Terms of Reference (training provided)
  • Team player with strong collaboration skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Problem-solving skills and self-motivation
  • Effective planning and organisational abilities
  • Property sector experience (preferred but not essential)
