Junior Technical Support and Data Analyst

Location: Bristol

Work Arrangement: Hybrid. Two days in the office and three days working from home. In the first six months, there will be a requirement to be more office-based until familiarity with the environment, personnel, systems, and data.

Junior Technical Support and Data Analyst Key Skills:

We are eager to connect with talented early-career individuals who are comfortable with a dual role. One that requires you to perform technical support duties, including hardware and software support. As well as data analysis duties, including using Power BI to find and transform data into actionable insights through reports, dashboards and visualisations.

To excel in this position, you should possess many of the following:

  • Experience gathering data from various sources, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Experience cleaning data to remove errors or irrelevant information.
  • Experience using Power BI and other data tools to create regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
  • Skilled in creating charts, graphs, and other visual aids to present data findings.
  • Some IT technical support experience. Including IT hardware and software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting skills, particularly with Windows operating systems and Office 365 packages.
  • Experience configuring and installing software on laptops and mobile devices.
  • Experience in providing technical support to end users both locally and remotely.

About the Junior Technical Support and Data Analyst position:

You will ensure the smooth operation of all systems and data requirements within our client's organisation.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing datasets and databases, and using Power BI to create regular reports on KPIs and metrics.
  • Responding to ad-hoc data requests and maintaining high data quality standards.
  • Supporting the technology team with data analysis and reporting tasks, and creating visual aids to present data insights.
  • Preparing reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with managed support providers to ensure seamless hardware and software support.
  • Providing technical support to end users locally and remotely, ensuring timely resolutions.
  • Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting all Windows operating systems and Office 365 packages.

Salary and Benefits:

Salary: £32-40,000

Location: Bristol

Work Arrangement: Hybrid. Two days in the office and three days working from home.
