Our Maidstone based client is seeking a Production Planner to join their team.
As Production Planner you will be responsible for managing the manufacturing process from schedules, through to completeness of assemblies and returns to stock.
Key Duties:
- Working closely with the Production Coordinator to oversee the entire production process.
- Developing and maintaining production schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Analysing sales forecasts to determine stock requirements on long lead time items.
- Organising shipments of systems
- Leading packing of systems to ensure safe transportation to customer sites.
- Required skills and characteristics:
Experience Needed
- Previous experience with MRP software
- Excellent communication skills.
Desirable
Ability to interpret technical drawings & specifications.
Experience in vacuum industry.
