My client is seeking a Sales Development Executive with resolve, self-motivation, and a results-oriented mindset to join a new department within our sales team. Based in the Oxford office, you will be instrumental in generating new business opportunities by prospecting and engaging in timely conversations with senior executives.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Gain a deep understanding of customer needs and requirements.
  • Engage in outbound cold calls, emails, and social media outreach to follow up with prospects.
  • Communicate our value proposition effectively to secure initial meetings with potential new customers in our core markets.
  • Work closely with senior Business Development Representatives to identify commercial opportunities and progress these through their buying cycles.
  • Generate a pipeline of commercial opportunities by prospecting and researching companies and their management teams.
  • Maintain and expand our prospect database.
  • Uphold the brand values of the company during all prospecting activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Recent graduates or individuals early in their sales career, ideally with 1-2 years of experience.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Natural communicators with outstanding writing skills and confidence when speaking to a diverse professional audience.
  • Driven individuals capable of making a high volume of outbound calls daily.
  • Inquisitive and curious mindset for researching and identifying key prospects to generate leads.
  • High energy and ambition to meet and exceed targets.
  • Flexibility to operate and adapt within a fast-paced, start-up environment.
