You'll have a couple of direct reports (QA & Hygiene) and report into the MD. You'll be managing the day-to-day activities of the Quality team, setting goals & objectives on a daily basis. You'll manage food site safety and be responsible for all Technical and Quality related matters, including GMP.
You will have control of the site Quality Management System, and ensure site compliance with UK and EU regulations / legislation, to include external certification (BRCGS, OF&G, Kosher). There will also be the opportunity to lead on new product trials.
To be successfully considered for this position you'll need to have relevant qualifications, namely:
- minimum HND in food safety, or equivalent experience
- HACCP Level 3.
- Internal auditing qualification/experience
Experience wise, we're looking for someone who has high care food QMS management experience, with the interpersonal skills to effectively manage a small team and interact well with auditing bodies and suppliers.
