About The Role

Ensure that external areas (car parks, walkways, service yards) are litter picked daily to ensure good standards of housekeeping are maintained. Emptying the site bins Sweeping of pedestrian walkways.

You will be working Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 07:00 to 10:00, 12 hours per week, on a permanent, part-time basis.

Main Duties & Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Daily litter pick of car park, pedestrian walkways and shrubbery bordering car park.
  • Empty bins daily, replace with fresh bin liner and dispose of bagged waste in collection point.
  • Sweep pedestrian walkways as per schedule.
  • Litter pick service yard.
  • Litter pick grass bank areas.
  • Report any defects to site security.

Health & Safety accountabilities:

  • Communicate regularly with colleagues through formal and informal channels on safety matters to ensure that there is a free flow of ideas, and that morale remains high.
  • Ensure that the OCS safety image is reflected positively through your actions and those of your colleagues.
  • Ensure that personal H&S competence and skill level is maintained i.e. attended Managing Safety programme and other Company safety events.
  • Take responsibility for ensuring that plant and equipment is maintained and fit for purpose.
  • Ensure that work activities are properly managed and supervised.

Requirements:

  • No experience, necessary, full training can be given.
  • * Able to work with little supervision and ensure that tasks are completed within the allocated timescales. This is an outdoor working environment year-round.
