Fund Accountant

Equifindare seeking a highly motivated and recently chartered accountant to join a dynamic private equity investment group based in London as a Fund Accountant.

The group is made up of entrepreneurs and investment professionals who are passionate about creating value through new and innovative investment strategies.

As a new member of their team, the Fund Accountant will have the opportunity to work with industry experts to to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the financial statements, as well as provide critical financial analysis to support investment decisions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Oversight of third-party service providers including accounting, tax, VAT providers, ensuring compliance with statutory and tax regulations
  • Co-ordination of quarterly interest payments and preparation of quarterly debt compliance reporting, liaising with facility agents and service providers as required
  • Ongoing cashflow monitoring and management including co-ordination and review of payment runs, liaising with internal accounts payable team and service providers as necessary
  • Internal reporting of performance metrics and input of financial elements into partner reports
  • Maintenance of internal databases of companies and assets under management, equity and debt
  • Providing reporting and assistance to investment and asset management teams including provision of actuals against budgets, debt/equity stats
  • Assisting with the setup of new entities and structures as required
  • Supporting the Investment team in deal process including provision of KYC information, review and co-ordination of any financial due diligence and arranging equity calls and cash movements

Application criteria:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/CA preferred)
  • Ideally trained in an accounting/audit practice
  • Experience of preparing statutory accounts
  • Strong Excel and other MS systems
  • Excited by a broad and varied position in which no two-days will be the same

Compensation:

  • Base salary of £60-70,000 (DOE)
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
