We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Exeter, who are looking to appoint a Management Accountant to join the Development Finance team on a nine month fixed term contract.
This will be a full-time position with hybrid working and a salary of £44,100 - £49,000 per annum (FTE).
The ideal candidate will be qualified and have previous experience in a similar role.
Duties will include (but are not limited to:
- Producing monthly management accounts including balance sheets and P&L for the Open Market Sales
- Preparing statutory accounts and quarterly VAT Returns
- Supporting with month and year end duties as required
- Liaising with senior management and Directors, attending and presenting reports at strategic meetings
- Identifying and challenging any issues with data
- Acting as a point of contact for a Finance Assistant
- Completing monthly KPIs and performance reporting
- Supporting with the production of annual business plans
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
- CCAB qualified or qualified by experience
- Experienced with multiple complex accounting systems
