We are looking for a Senior Commercial Consultant to join our Commercial Excellence Consulting team at NHS SBS.

As a Senior Consultant, you will lead and deliver on exciting projects and be involved in some high-profile commercial programmes for the NHS.

This role will be hybrid, with travel to client sites and NHS SBS offices across the country.

What you will be doing:

  • Deliver commercial/procurement assignments/projects on time to a high standard.
  • Manage and develop all levels of collaborator relationships internally and externally.
  • Ensure effective client engagement during assignment, taking a proactive role in identifying any issues and potential solutions that may arise within the assignment and escalating these as appropriate.
  • Develop awareness of consulting models and/or methods.
  • Analyse data, understand trends and produce meaningful recommendations.

What you'll bring:

  • A commercial background.
  • Experience in delivering or supporting projects and or business analysis in a commercial environment.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills to interact with all level of people of the organisation.
  • An eye for quality and detail, combined with an ability to think creatively.

It would be great if you had:

  • Consulting experience
  • Public sector finance experience (PCR 2015)
