We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Electro-Mechanical Engineer to join our clients Engineering Team. This position involves working on both planned maintenance and reactive breakdown repair of production equipment. The role requires lone working within a secure environment and is customer-facing, representing our company on-site.
Location: Mallusk, Northern Ireland
Shift Pattern: Rotating weekly shifts (06:00 - 14:00 and 07:00 - 15:00)
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct servicing and planned maintenance of production equipment.
- As an electro-mechanical engineer you will perform reactive repairs to minimize equipment downtime.
- As an electro-mechanical engineer you will assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Conduct fault finding and root cause analysis.
- As an electro-mechanical engineer you will apply fixes efficiently to ensure equipment availability.
- Complete repair logs and manage stock movements to a high standard.
- Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and professionally.
What We're Looking For:
- Formal Electrical/Mechanical qualification desired.
- Computer literate - Windows, excel, word, etc.
- Experience carrying out fault finding on electrical circuits(inc. single phase HV kit).
- Mechanical maintainance experience essential (motors, gears, encoders, bearings, clutches, etc.).
- Right to work in the UK.

- Salary: £35 - £40k inclusive of "flexibility allowance" (DOE)
- Holidays: 25 days + Bank holidays
- Pension: 5 - 8.5% depending on age (contributory)
