Description
The Accounts Payable Clerk will;
- Process and verify invoices in an accurate and timely manner
- Reconcile supplier statements and handle payment discrepancies
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
- Maintain the vendor file system and respond to vendor queries
- Assist in month-end reporting procedures
- Work closely with the finance team to ensure smooth operation of all finance matters
Profile
A successful Accounts Payable Clerk should have:
- A strong understanding of accounting principles
- Experience processing high volume invoices, 100 + per day
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
- An AAT qualification or equivalent is desirable
Job Offer
