Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 6 Teaching Assistant to join our team. This is a full-time role, working from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, where you will be supporting the Year 6 class. The position involves general classroom assistance, working closely with the class teacher to ensure that all students receive the support they need to succeed. Duties will include:
- Assisting with classroom activities and lesson preparations
- Providing one-on-one support to students as needed
- Supporting students with special educational needs
- Helping to manage classroom behaviour
- Contributing to a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Person Specification:
The ideal candidate will be passionate about education and have experience working with children, preferably within a primary school setting. Key qualities include:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
