Greenfield IT is pleased to be recruiting for a Service Desk Team Lead on behalf of our client, a leading company based in Telford.
The successful candidate will have a strong technical support background, exceptional leadership qualities, and a customer-first approach. This role is pivotal in delivering outstanding service to our business clients while optimising service desk operations.
Service Desk Team Lead Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of IT services, ensuring alignment with agreed service
- Oversee daily operations of the IT service delivery team, ensuring prompt and efficient support and maintenance.
- Serve as the primary contact for clients and internal stakeholders regarding IT service issues, requests, and escalations.
- Implement best practices in IT service management, such as ITIL or other relevant frameworks.
- Manage and mentor the IT service delivery team, providing guidance, training, and support to elevate their skills and performance.
- Monitor service performance against SLAs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures.
- Lead root cause analysis for recurring issues, developing strategies to prevent future occurrences.
- Oversee the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition.
Service Team Lead Candidates:
- A minimum of 2 Years experience within a technical support role
- Understanding of IT sales processes
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Familiarity with hardware and software products, including troubleshooting techniques.
