Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging and creative lessons across different subjects, ensuring all students are supported in their learning.
- Provide one-to-one or group support for students who need additional help, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- Help manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
- Support students in developing their social and emotional skills, as well as their academic achievements.
- Assist in the planning and preparation of lessons and classroom resources.
- Supervise and assist children during break times, school trips, and extracurricular activities.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment that encourages participation from all students.
- Work closely with teachers and other staff members to provide feedback on student progress.
Ideal Candidate:
- Graduate: A recent graduate with a degree in psychology, arts, sports, education, or a related field is highly desirable.
- Passion for Education: A genuine interest in working with young children and supporting their development.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Experience: Experience working with children (voluntary or paid) is preferred but not essential.
- Creativity and Initiative: A proactive and creative approach to engaging students and enhancing the learning environment.
- Team Player: Able to work effectively within a team of teachers and support staff.
