Our client is a not-for-profit business. They employ hundreds of staff and service thousands of customers in the Walsall area. They are looking for an Social Worker to join them working on a 3-6 month FTC.
Description
As a Social Worker you will be:
- Supporting the Contact Centre Team with a triage service within the social worker field, i.e. on how to sign posting as well as effective questioning in order to better support
- Managing a team size up to 15 advisors within the contact centre
- Managing and working through customer case loads
- Providing legislation and guidance
- Being the subject matter expert within social work/care and helping the team as and when needed
- Setting up and implementing new policies and procedure to help the service with their customer base
Profile
A successful Social Worker should have:
- Prior experience in a Social worker role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A customer-centric mindset and a strong desire to help customers.
- Ability to work well in a team and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult situations with grace.
