, and following a significant business expansion is now recruiting and looking for a

Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality (HSEQ) Officer

, this is a hybrid role with visits to their office based near Stockport (SK3 postcode).

The role of the

HSEQ Officer

will work closely with the Head of Risk and Compliance, company directors and business leads to deliver the HSEQ strategy and drive a culture of continuous improvement.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an HSEQ professional to work in a collaborative environment influencing and leading on all aspects of health and safety, environmental and quality performance.

Key responsibilities for the

HSEQ Officer

will include:

  • Develop a strong working relationship with all levels of employees and promote a culture of engagement, understanding and compliance for all HSEQ policies and procedures
  • Monitor, review, improve and amend the associated management systems to ensure continual improvement and compliance
  • Manage the completion of ISO9001 / ISO14001 / H&S internal and external audits and providing effective solutions to support compliance regarding all external audits
  • Support the ISO 27001 and ISO 22301 internal audit programmes and where required external audits
  • Perform site visits to ensure all standards documentation is available
  • Support the implementation, design, and development of risk management processes, including, ISO and H&S Risk Assessments, COSHH Assessment and Fire Risk Assessment.
  • Attend and provide monthly reports to business meetings

What we are looking for in the

HSEQ Officer

:

  • 3 plus years' experience in operational management Quality, Safety, Health, and Environment leadership
  • NEBOSH general certification or equivalent
  • Previous experience of producing internal audits to comply with 9001, 14001 and 45001
  • Exposure to ISO 27001, ISO 22301, Eco Vadis, environmental reporting or CE+ a benefit
  • Accuracy, diligence, and a champion of embracing and driving effective compliance solutions
  • Excellent solutions, planning and organisational skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
