As an Accounts Assistant in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, you will play a key role in supporting the company's financial operations. Working closely with the finance manager, you'll be responsible for a range of accounting tasks and business support activities.
Key Responsibilities for the Accounts Assistant in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire include:
- Assisting with month-end and year-end financial reporting
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Reconciling and recording online sales and other transactions
- Managing accruals, prepayments, and asset registers
- Supporting the processing of weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payroll
- Carrying out general administrative tasks and data entry as needed
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in a similar finance/accounts assistant role
- Strong knowledge of Sage 50 and Microsoft Excel
- Experience with payroll processing is a strong advantage
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Good written and verbal communication abilities
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
