The Company
Our client is an established and growing professional services group providing accounting services for a portfolio of clients. They are looking for a qualified Management Accountant to join their growing team. This would be an ideal role for a first time mover from practice.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast paced, actively growing yet established organisation. A varied role your day to day responsibilities will include the following:
- Preparation of management accounts for a portfolio of clients reviewing all items both on balance sheet and P&L
- Reconciliation of intercompany balances and review of VAT returns
- Preparation of quarterly board reports with commentary for inclusion in board packs
- Quarterly review of IFRS/FRS102 calculations
- Accruals & Prepayments calculations and the recording and monitoring of expenditure
- Detailed review of year end position
The Person
A qualified ACA accountant, this role is an ideal first move from practice. Our client offers a great team environment where no two days are ever the same so you must have excellent stakeholder management and organisational skills. You will be a good team player with the proven ability to strict deadlines and show a willingness to learn. Good knowledge of IFRS/FRS 102 is essential.
