Salary: £23,829 (actual salary for 44 weeks)

Role Overview

We are excited to offer a new role in Southwark where you'll play a vital part in supporting our partnered secondary schools Sixth Form community. We are looking for a dedicated individual who will prioritise the needs of the Sixth Form students, ensuring a positive and focused study environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Sixth Form Study Area: Maintain an atmosphere conducive to learning, promoting effective study habits among students at Key Stage 5 (KS5).
  • Lead the KS5 Learning Hub: Develop and manage this space, fostering a culture of academic excellence.
  • Support Student Success: Assist students in overcoming barriers to learning, both inside and outside the classroom, ensuring they reach their full potential. You'll work closely with students who are at risk of underachievement, providing both curriculum support and additional help outside of class.
  • Provide Administrative Support: Offer confidential management and administrative assistance to the Sixth Form's daily operations and strategic planning. You'll work closely with the Head of Sixth Form and Tutors to create a welcoming and supportive environment for students and their families.
  • Monitor Progress and Coordinate Activities: Assist in tracking student progress, collaborating with staff and external partners, and organizing educational activities and trips.
