Position: SEN Tutor Location: Across Leeds Employment Type: Flexible Hours

About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Tutor to provide personalized educational support to pupils who are not attending traditional schools. This role involves working with students in their homes or in booked rooms within libraries or community centres. The pupils you will be working with have varying levels of ability and require tailored teaching approaches to meet their individual needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver one-on-one tutoring sessions to SEN pupils.
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans.
  • Adapt teaching methods to suit the varying levels of pupils.
  • Provide a supportive and encouraging learning environment.
  • Monitor and report on pupils' progress.
  • Collaborate with parents, guardians, and other professionals as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Relevant teaching qualifications (e.g., PGCE, QTS).
  • Experience working with SEN pupils.
  • Strong understanding of SEN educational needs and strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage flexible working hours.
