As they continue their ambitious expansion, Delifresh is seeking a passionate and proactive Buyer to join their team. You will be at the centre of Delifresh, sourcing new products & suppliers, negotiating prices and developing buyers' assistants to improve their knowledge and skills and support their development .
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Oversee stock management and supplier diversity.
- Negotiate cost reductions and ensure competitive pricing.
- Review and manage supplier performance and SLAs.
- Handle supplier disputes and administrative issues.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Source new suppliers to meet company standards.
- Network at trade shows and stay informed.
- Develop new product purchasing strategies.
- Benchmark market data and improve KPIs.
- Train and mentor team members.
About You :
- Expertise in purchasing strategies and supply chains.
- Food procurement experience preferred.
- CIPS Level 5 (desirable).
- Knowledge of the hospitality industry.
- Proven in supplier relationship building.
- Effective negotiation skills.
