We are seeking a charity specialist to provide senior leadership to the Charity, helping them deliver on their strategic aims and continue their invaluable work. As a growing and ambitious charity, they offer responsibility, variety, and the chance to work within a team that is wholly invested in providing young people and children the opportunity to fulfil their potential.
- This role is ideal for an individual who is comfortable with a substantial level of accountability, highly motivated, and can use their personal skills to influence and lead.
- The ideal candidate should be an experienced charity accountant, familiar with working as part of a senior team with regular board interaction.
- You will be supported by a Head of Finance who will oversee the management of the Finance Team and function.
- In addition to ensuring that the organisation meets its legal and statutory obligations, you will be central to organisational efficiency and overall financial sustainability, both within the organisation and the wider network.
- We are looking for someone who is able to cover the standard set of responsibilities that fall within a Director of Finance role and bring a creative and entrepreneurial approach, driving innovation in how things are done across the organisation.
- Fully qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA Accountant
- Prior experience working within a Projects environment, adept with SORP accounting regulations.
What's on offer?
- £70,000-£80,000 per annum
- Hybrid working, Outskirts of Manchester office, 2-3 times per week on site
- Travel to other sites across the UK as and when required
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
