Role Overview:

  • Location: Chesterfield

  • Salary: Up to £100k+ depending on experience

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Autonomously scope and deliver projects to clients

  • Lead the operational side of the private client tax planning team, including the development of others and overall strategy

  • Drive business development initiatives

  • Exceptional long-term prospects within a thriving, successful, and growing team

  • Clear pathway towards becoming a Partner

This role involves providing comprehensive private client tax advice, including but not limited to:

  1. Reviewing and implementing estate and inheritance tax (IHT) planning strategies to mitigate exposure
  2. Managing and implementing trust planning
  3. Preparing Wills
  4. Advising on property tax planning
  5. Handling residency and domicile issues for high-net-worth individuals (HNWs)
  6. Managing estate administration

Candidate Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in inheritance tax and trust advisory roles
  • Expertise in estate administration, with the capacity to sign off on assignments for the Estates team in the medium term
  • Proficiency in reviewing and providing input into accounts, with a strong understanding of financial statements
  • Leadership qualities and strategic thinking skills, with the potential to lead the team and contribute to overall strategy development
