Project Manager - Water Sector

We are seeking a Project Manager with a passion for the Water Sector to join our team. You will play a pivotal role in project and programme management, contributing to transformational programmes for critical UK infrastructure. This role offers the chance to work on iconic engineering projects both domestically and internationally. Day to Day of the role:

  • Manage projects and programmes across UK and international project lifecycles, including feasibility studies, front-end to detailed design, and construction support.
  • Support the project technical team in delivering projects that meet agreed targets, such as programme, budget, and quality.
  • Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals.
  • Collaborate with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
  • Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.
  • Prepare all necessary project reports and plans, both internally and externally, as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Degree qualified and a member of a professional institution (MAPM, CMI, etc.).
  • Practical experience in project management within water/wastewater infrastructure or non-infrastructure projects.
  • Experience in managing design delivery, including multidisciplinary and Design and Build projects.
  • Proficient in creating Scope Definition papers, Project Execution Plans, Risk Registers, Change Control Logs, and Client and Stakeholder Management plans.
  • Familiarity with Design and Build projects and bid delivery in the water and/or wastewater engineering sector.
  • International project experience is beneficial but not essential.
