Salary: £47,000 per annum

Job Description: They are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor with a mechanical bias, specifically in HVAC or plumbing, to join a large team at a Hospital site near Oxford. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a team of technicians, ensuring the smooth operation of maintenance activities, and maintaining compliance with regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team of technicians, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Coordinate and prioritise maintenance tasks to ensure timely completion.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Liaise with subcontractors and external vendors as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and documentation of compliance.
  • Monitor and manage budgets for maintenance activities.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a maintenance role with a mechanical bias, preferably in a commercial setting.
  • Qualifications in HVAC or plumbing are essential.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role is highly desirable.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as required.
