Accounts Assistant

Grafton Banks Finance are currently working with a well-respected and growing practice with offices based in Folkestone to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a full-time permanent basis.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Compile monthly management account reports.
  • Carry out all day-to-day financial procedures such as Payroll, Payments, Pension Administration, HMRC Compliance including VAT, CIS, and submission within the timelines required etc.
  • Ensure monthly PAYE/NIC schedules are completed along with annual returns.
  • Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts at month end.
  • Input all expenditure from staff credit cards ensuring the correct treatment of VAT.

The successful candidate will be AAT qualified or/and have demonstrable experience in a similair role. You will need to have excellent IT skills including exposure to Excel.
