Operational Excellence Lead - 6 Sigma Black Belt - Hybrid (London) - 85k
Robert Half is partnering with a market leading organisation undergoing a huge period of transformation.
They are looking to recruit an operational excellence professional who is a 6 Sigma Black Belt practitioner.
Responsibilities
- Delivering the Operational Excellence strategy for the long term and the Annual Operating Plans (AOP) for a specific division within the wider group.
- Directly lead and deliver key Operational Excellence cross business improvements driving cost savings to the broader business of circa £1m annualised margin enhancement savings.
- Work with senior stakeholders to identify and priorities the most significant cost saving opportunities, taking ownership of the overall delivery, tracking, and reporting of organisational financial savings against target.
- Driving Yellow and Green Belt project completions with the account, service lines and division.
- Coach and advise teams on the development of project plans to ensure the correct tools and techniques are being deployed, on the right projects to maximise benefits delivery.
- Utilise AI and data insights to identify possible flags to drive early interventions. Collaborate with division to identify significant opportunities, mobilise teams to deliver (YBs / GBs) and replicate benefits realised.
Experience required
- Educated to Degree level (or equivalent)
- Lean, 6 sigma Black Belt (minimum of 5 years as an active Black Belt)
- Broad experience of implementing Operational Excellence tools, systems and principles into a variety of business environments.
- Ability to communicate across a diverse community of stakeholders, good networking and influencing skills. A persuasive, concise, clear verbal and written communicator.
- Ability to work with changing priorities and with multiple projects.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a complex, fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
- Experience of operating in a matrix organisation providing services across multiple locations, capabilities and stakeholder.
- Experience of developing a high performing team.
- Experience in an outsourced service environment is desirable.
This is a hybrid working role with a requirement to be on site in London 1-2 days per week, with potential additional requirements to travel to other locations nationally.
