About the company?
This Building Services, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering specific consultancy are now looking to complement their Bristol team with a new Senior Electrical Engineer with proven experience within Building Services Design.
They have 8 offices around the UK and are known as one of the best in the sector, working in all areas of Building Services, including Sustainability, BIM and acoustics. This consultancy is in a phase of growth due to the range and number of projects they have recently secured and their plans to expand their Bristol office & operations.
Using all the latest technologies, you will be equipped with all the tools you need to successfully complete your job, ideally the next individual will be confident with AutoCAD, Revit, Relux/dialux and Amtech. You will be reporting to the office Director and working alongside several different building services engineers, guiding and mentoring the more junior members and leading your own projects. They are a team of around 12 individuals in Bristol and slowing expanding meaning you have the chance to cement a senior position in a phase of growth due to the stage the office is currently at with management.
While we are looking for individuals at Senior level who can run their own projects alongside a small team, we are able to consider slightly more junior individuals that are working as part of a team and hoping to make the step up into a Project Lead / Senior position soon. The opportunity for progression is there!

What is required from the successful Senior Electrical Engineer?
- A building services background with proven Building Services Design experience.
- Able to use relevant software packages such as Revit, Amtech, Relux/dialux and AutoCAD.
- Electrical Engineering of Building Services specific qualification, chartership or working towards.
- Confident and versatile Engineer able to work relatively independently with minimal supervision, if not currently at Senior level.
- The desire to grow as an Engineer and manager to develop your career as Building services leader.
