Davies is working with a well established financial services client to recruit a Head of Compliance to join their team. You will be ensuring the organisation is up to date with applicable regulations, advising on changes, and providing ongoing guidance.
Location: Fully Remote
Rates: £600 - £700 Per day (Inside IR35) DOE
Engagement Type: 6 Month Contract - Potential Opportunity for Temp to Perm
Key Responsibilities:
- Defining the relevant regulatory landscape.
- Providing oversight and guidance on new regulations.
- Providing ongoing regulatory advice, guidance, and horizon scanning.
- Managing the Regulatory Reporting, Conduct & Governance Manager and Analyst
Role Requirements:
- In-depth understanding of relevant FCA handbooks and their practical application.
- Navigating complex regulations and adapting to changing environments.
- Identify and devise solutions for regulatory risks.
- Credible and engaging professional with influencing skills.
- Proven experience working within a Risk and Compliance function.
- Strong working knowledge of the UK legal and regulatory framework.
- Demonstrated experience with HMRC reporting requirements. (Desirable)
- Experience navigating regulated activities and/or operating in a shadow regulatory environment
- ICA Diploma or equivalent compliance qualification (Desirable)
