HAYS are recruiting on behalf of an established M&E Contractor based in Southampton. Following the success of their recently completed projects, they are looking for a Mechanical Division Manager to solidify their growth & amplify their mechanical arm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management of Design or pre-commencement phase
- Liaise with clients, consultants, quantity surveyors and other third parties
- Procurement of the project (subcontract packages, materials, plant) before we start on site
- Production of construction/ commissioning programmes
- Management of your project site and office team, ensuring effectiveness in their role
- Achieving project milestones and deadlines
- Financial management and working to budgets
- Quality control
The ideal candidate:
- Commercial acumen
- Experience on design and build, new build and refurbishment projects
- High level of technical knowledge
- Strong negotiation skills
- Mechanical Contractor background
