Job Title: Corporate Tax Manager - 12 Month FTC

Base Location: This role is based out of the clients Dublin office within Park West Business park.

Work Pattern: The team have a hybrid and flexible working approach, looking at ideally 2 days a week in the office. The main day being Wednesday.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an Irish Tax qualified Accountant to join the UKs largest long-term savings and retirement business on a 12 month FTC covering Maternity leave. You will be reporting directly to the European Head of Tax where you will be providing Tax technical support to the Irish Businesses of the group on all relevant tax matters.

Alongside the Corporate Tax work, you will gain the opportunity to work directly in any advisory/project/tax audit work alongside tax reporting. You will also have the chance to work on VAT/Indirect Tax as well as exposure to Transfer pricing.

What will you be doing ?

On a day-to-day basis this role will include:

  • Managing corporation tax compliance process for Irish entities ensuring timely and accurate submission of required tax returns.
  • Preparing all relevant internal tax reporting figures and disclosures (including, in respect of statutory financial statements) and review tax related reconciliations where required. To act as principal point of contact for all tax reporting matters.
  • Preparing VAT and other indirect tax returns for Irish entities.
  • To act as SME and principal point of contact for operational tax matters within the Irish business providing tax technical guidance and advice on ad hoc matters and to ensure continued compliance with relevant legislative requirements.
  • To provide analysis and advice to business in respect of the impact of new tax legislation, guidance including departmental training where required.

What will you need to do it?

  • You will need to be an Irish Tax qualified accountant either from a Practice or Industry background. If from practice ideally you would be at the Manager level or an experienced Assistant Manager.
  • You will need to have working experience with Irish Tax, ideally being from a Corporate Tax background.
  • You will need to be ACA/ACCA/CA and AITI qualified.
