Senior Accountant
A forward thinking, modern accountancy firm is looking to recruit an Accounts Manager / Senior accountant to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone that is potentially looking to progress their career.
Responsibilities and skills include:
- Building and maintaining strong, long lasting client relationships
- Good client interaction skills for meetings and able to demonstrate exceptional service standards.
- Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department
- Preparing accounting data and produce financial reports or statements and
- Reviewing accounts team work
- Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
The ideal candidate will be;
- A qualified accountant - ACCA, ACA
- Have experience working within a similar role at an accounting firm
- Successful at developing and maintaining relationships with client base
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Tech Savvy and able to think outside the box
- Confident and motivated self starter with the ability to manage your time and efficiently meet deadlines
- Must be based local / easily commutable to the Hereford area and not require sponsorship
Ideally full time - 35 hours. Can be flexible after probationary period.
Salary: Starting at £45k or more depending on experience.
