Our client, an Art Gallery in Newbury, is seeking 2x energetic Event Staff to join their team for an exciting high-end event. If you enjoy engaging with people and have experience in the hospitality industry, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
Key details of the event:
- Date: Saturday 17/08/2024
- Time: 3pm to 7pm
- Pay: £12 per hour
- Location: Newbury town centre
Responsibilities:
- Serve drinks, including prosecco, juice, and bottled beer.
- Provide excellent customer service and engage with visitors to the gallery.
- Assist with serving small nibbles, depending on the arrangements.
- Wash glasses and ensure they are properly stored.
- Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to the dress code (smart black trousers/skirts and white shirts).
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry is preferable.
- Ability to open and serve beverages, including pouring prosecco.
- Professional and friendly demeanour.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Proactive and able to use initiative.
