Senior Supply Chain and Logistics Specialist

Your core tasks will include:

  • Ensure accurate order processing of all new orders, including, processing sales orders and order related documents within the ERP system
  • Ensure fulfilment and logistical distribution of all of FANUC products, including planning, review, communication and financial control from point of customer order to delivery to the external/internal customers
  • Key contact for Customs for import and exports of FANUC product/related equipment, including review of customs scenarios
  • Forecasting and demand planning of FANUC products and options to meet customer demand
  • Compliance with Supply Chain and Customs related regulations/policies
  • Coordinate deliveries for local project requirements and performance of logistics providers
  • Inventory management of local branch stock and audit compliance
  • Contact for communication with external customers and other internal departments at FANUC, ensuring regular updates on order statuses
  • Manage communication from department mailboxes and channels for external/internal customers
  • Ensure high quality of the delivered goods carried out, including measuring quality with dedicated KPI's
  • Align with FANUC strategies to support business growth targets and implement change within the organization
  • Support process development and continuous improvement activities within the team and wider business applying methodologies
  • Work closely with other departments to align Supply Chain operations with the overall business goals
  • Any other related duties, as required by the Head of Supply Chain and Logistics, and such other duties as are within the scope of the job purpose, the title of the post and its grading.

Your profile:

  • University degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or related field
  • 7+ years of work experience in the Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations or similar position
  • Proficiency in Supply Chain management/ERP software (e.g. Oracle or SAP) and MS Office
  • Strong knowledge of UK and EU Customs/regulations
  • Customer-centric approach to work
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Have exceptional organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong ability to work independently
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and work well under pressure, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

You may be required to:

  • Support wider operational activities from time to time
  • Support or take a leading role in local or group based projects and implementations
  • Support other subsidiary lead projects
  • Occasionally travel to other FANUC sites or customer sites
