The Company:
My client is one of the UK's leading manufacturers of bespoke air management, acoustic control, and noise management solutions. With other 150 years of experience, they are dedicated to delivering innovative and high-quality products and services. They are looking for an Acoustics Estimator to join their growing team.
The Role:
As an Acoustics Estimator, you will be delivering commercial and technical quotations to exciting projects around the UK. Your expertise will be required to select and apply the company's high-quality products and services.
Role responsibilities include:
- Recommending resources and equipment required to provide services, while meeting regulations.
- Liaising with internal departments, ensuring all personnel have the relevant information for the project to succeed.
- Consider and apply commercial and technical solutions to reduce internal cost and increase profit.
- Exhibit a professional demeanour.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum 5 years' experience as applications engineer and or estimator, ideally within power generation, acoustic plant room enclosure or tank containers.
- A diploma from the Institute of Acoustics, is preferred.
- Experience with AutoCAD or Inventor software.
- Good teamwork skills.
- An innovative approach to problem solving.
- An understanding of commercial awareness within the HVAC market.
