Due to excellent organisational growth, I am looking for a Software Tester to join one of my clients. You will join an established Software Testing Team who are responsible for the robust testing of a range of software products developed by the organisation.
You will have the opportunity to work as part of a wider team and independently and also engage directly with internal development teams and in supporting external clients as required.
The core skills and competencies required for this Software Tester role are:
- Manage and plan your own time to ensure provide the appropriate level of test coverage
- Hands-on manual software testing
- Demonstrable experience or working closely with Software Development Teams
- Experience with bug-tracking tools such as – Bugzilla and Jira
- Experience with Test Management tools including – Azure DevOps and Quality Centre
- Understanding of CI/CD Pipelines
- Hands on experience of writing and executing test plans, test cases and test scripts
- Any knowledge of Agile Development methods would be an advantage
- Holds a ISTQB Foundation in Software Testing
This role would be perfect for a Tester who is organised, curios to develop and has a great attention to detail looking to progress into their second role and wants to be part of team where they can develop their testing experience in a professional and supportive environment. It will allow you to progress yourself both technical and professionally.
This role will require you to evidence 5 years' on UK based residency and undertake Security Clearance in accordance with the National Vetting Scheme.
