About the Role

Our client, a rapidly expanding and market leading ticketing and event management platform is looking for an experienced Global Head of Account Management to play a key role for this software business as they enter the next stage of growth.

This is a hybrid role based three days per week in their Central London office and two days per week working from home.

The Global Head of Account Management will lead our client's global operational and commercial Success teams ensuring the protection and growth of their customer base. They will develop strategies to ensure that clients are supported from on-boarding through to renewal. They will lead and develop the Global Account Management team, whilst always looking to make process efficiencies/automations to increase profitability per customer over time. They will also be a key influencer of how the product roadmap evolves to meet the requirements of event organisers through clear and regular communications with their customer base ensuring that they continue to innovate for them.

Main responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Global Account Management strategy to drive retention and growth within their customer base.
  • Be responsible for returning revenue performance and meeting/exceeding
  • Develop, monitor and act on dashboards that provide a comprehensive view of their renewal base reporting on its performance and health.
  • Work closely with the Head of Sales to provide a seamless transition and on-boarding.
  • Provide strong leadership to the operational and commercial teams globally, setting clear direction and goals as well providing mentorship and coaching to develop their potential.
  • Lead from the front and support the team in delivering strategically relevant
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, to develop tailored solutions and proposals that address customer requirements and drive value.
  • Embrace and be an ambassador of their culture, creating a highly accountable, performance related team.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive developments, providing insights and recommendations to inform strategic decision-making and product development initiatives.

Must-have

  • 5 - 10 years' experience of account management / customer success / client success in a high-growth B2B technology / SaaS business / software business.
  • Experience within a start-up, scale up, fast growth SME or investor backed business.
  • Proven experience of revenue growth, strategic account management and successful business growth
  • Deep level of account management experience across both operational and commercial success.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strong process oriented strategies to drive predictable success within a highly relationship-oriented industry.
  • Strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset, who thrives off analysing data to identify areas to improve customer performance and implement relevant strategies to deliver that success.
  • Experienced people leader who can source, train and develop multiple levelled individuals to reach their potential and work as a team.
  • In conjunction with the CRO, develop and monitor individual and team revenue
  • Prepared to roll up their sleeves and be hands on where necessary to deliver
  • Outstanding communicator, comfortable working at any level as well as cross
  • Strong empathy for customers AND passion for revenue and growth
  • Experience in the entertainment, ticketing or a related sector is not critical but would be a nice to have, as would international experience.
