Stores Person / Workshop Operative who has good work ethic, excellent communication, organisational, time-management and IT skills is required for a manufacturing company based in Leeds, West Yorkshire.
ALL LEVELS OF EXPERIENCE CONSIDERED
Ideally you will have previous stores / warehouse or similar industry experience where you're dealing with goods in, picking / packing and liaising with couriers. However, the company will consider candidates with all levels of experience providing you're happy working within a manufacturing environment which will involve keeping the workshop clean and tidy and supporting the manufacturing team when required.

Working as the Stores Person / Workshop Operative you will be responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out, ensuring the manufacturing production team has the necessary parts.
As the Stores Person / Workshop Operative you will also maintain an organised and tidy workshop / manufacturing floor.
As a successful candidate you will have opportunities to train as a Manufacturing / Engineering Machinist and Production Fitter.

DUTIES
Your duties as the Stores Person / Workshop Operative include:
- Goods In: Receive, check, and store incoming goods accurately and efficiently
- Picking Parts: Select and prepare parts for the manufacturing production team, ensuring all items are available and ready for use
- Packing and Dispatching: Pack and dispatch products to meet customer orders, ensuring all items are securely and correctly packaged. This will also involve liaising with Couriers (UK and International)
- General Stores and Workshop: Keep the workshop and manufacturing floor clean and tidy, adhering to health and safety regulations
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience within a similar environment would be ideal. Although, all levels of experience considered
- Must be detailed orientated with excellent organisational skills
- Must be IT / PC literate
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
