A well known manufacturing company who champion a culture of continuous learning and inclusivity are looking for a Junior C# Software Developer who is ready to contribute positively to their team. 2023 saw them reach record revenue figures which has enabled them to invest heavily in their technology offering in 2024.

*This role is remote role however there is a local Newcastle office that you can work in if you prefer this*

The Business

They've grown headcount by 20% over the last few years and they continue to do so! Automation is a high on the agenda for them, with data being a core pillar in helping drive business performance in key areas. Their mission is to look at where technology can support their staff, not replace.

The role / day to day

You will work as part of a cross functional agile software development team using C#, .NET and SQL but there will be a custom built framework that you will work on that will leverage automation tools and modern cloud technologies. You'll get to work on a wide portfolio of internal facing software applications which integrate with various different data platforms.

Progression

On a day to day basis you'll learn from your peers who between them have over 20 years of experience. They are Senior and Lead level within the business and will be there to knowledge share, pair programme and generally support your personal development. You will have a tailored progression route which you will map out with the Software Development Manager to achieve the goals you are most interested in.

Skills required

This is a junior role so we you are not expected to come in with a shopping bag full of technologies and projects under your belt. As long as you have some commercial experience using any C based language and you know your way around a database then this could be a great role for you.

  • A salary of up to £30,000 with yearly pay rises / reviews
