Civil Reinstatement Coordinator
Are you an experienced Coordinator looking for a new opportunity in the utilities and reinstatement sector? We have an exciting role available within a well-established, family-run company with over 25 years of expertise. We are searching for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong eye for detail.
The Role:
You'll be a critical part of the team, managing a works system and prioritising requests to support the successful completion of reinstatement work on a water contract. The ideal candidate will effectively plan the reinstatement of excavations, ensuring they align with set timelines and client service level agreements (SLAs). You'll also play a key role in coordinating with contract managers and operatives to meet project goals while managing emergency work and ensuring teams have access to accurate information. The successful candidate can operate out of our Hackney or Maidenhead offices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and schedule reinstatement work, prioritising tasks to align with current notice durations.
- Coordinate resources effectively using relevant systems.
- Oversee reactive planning for emergency work.
- Maintain clear communication with contract management and operational teams to meet SLAs.
- Provide essential system updates to the reinstatement teams for successful project completion.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to work calmly under pressure with excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Experience in a similar role within the utilities industry, ideally with knowledge of NRSWA standards.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Familiarity with planning principles.
- Previous experience in the utilities sector is preferred.
Details:
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7 am - 4 pm, with an expectation of 2 weekends per month (Either a Saturday or Sunday, 7 am - 1 pm).
- Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 per year.
