Treasury Manager

To lead the Treasury and Business planning function, ensuring that organization has the financial capacity to deliver upon its strategic objectives. This role will partner and work in collaboration with the Financial Controller and the Lead Finance Business Partner, as well as with colleagues from across the business; embedding strong financial management throughout the business

Description

  • Manage cash, banking relationships / negotiations and oversee new debt acquisition.
  • Co-own the Finance Annual Delivery Plan that maps out our programme of work to deliver our annual objectives.
  • Maintain a fully stress tested Business Plan that reflects Corporate Strategy and remains compliant with settle's approved golden rules.
  • Maintain the treasury loan portfolio and lead on raising new funding
  • Responsible for the implementation of several key strategies; including settle's Financial regulations and Treasury Strategy
  • Build excellent relationships with external stakeholders
  • Prepare reports for and present to board and other committee meetings
  • Seeks new approaches and ways of working
  • Directly line manage at least 3 colleagues

Profile

  • A relevant treasury qualification and/or substantial experience of treasury management, funding and financial planning.
  • Experience with managing loan portfolios and raising new funding.
  • Strong leadership skills with demonstrable experience of embedding continuous improvement into teams.
  • Value the importance of business partnering and how such a function adds significant value to an organization.
  • High Attention to detail and excellent verbal / written communication skills
  • Ability to align financial data to trends in operation and strategic performance across the group.
  • Understands the importance of trying new approaches and ideas through a pioneering approach

Job Offer

  • A competitive salary range of around £75,000 - £82,000 annually
