Salary: £35,000-45,000 dependent on experience

I am excited to be hiring for a thriving architectural practice that specialises in the residential and retirement sectors and has a wide portfolio spanning several sectors. Their 40+ years of experience in the sector are put to use in delivering unique designs, and they collaborate with several national housing developers. Their friendly team is spread across three bustling offices, and they are looking for a motivated Technical Architect to join. Your new workplace will be in the Southampton area and boasts of a supportive, friendly and innovative working culture. The successful Technical Architect will have extensive post qualification experience, working on large scale residential and mixed use projects with excellent technical expertise, proficiency in Revit and keen to input to practice growth.
Skills, Experience and Responsibilities for the role of Technical Architect:
- Substantial post-qualification experience
- ARB registered
- Proven record of working on residential and mixed-use projects
- Experience working with housing developers
- Strong technical expertise
- Confident across RIBA stages 3-6
- Excellent technical detailing abilites
- Thorough understanding of architectural processes for CDM procedures
- Excellent knowledge of current UK building regulations
- Awareness of NBS specifications
- Attentiveness to detail
- Ideally experience in contract and project management
- Excellent communication skills
- Work well within a team
- Proactive and enthusiastic attitude
- Live an easy commute to surrounding Southampton area
