Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage contractors and capital works, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
- Take line management responsibility for the site team, driving performance and setting high standards.
- Support the Operations Manager in planning and evaluating site repairs and maintenance, including budget oversight.
- Champion health and safety compliance, including first aid provision and risk assessments.
- Conduct regular compliance and security checks, manage fire safety systems, and respond to alarms.
- Undertake hands-on maintenance tasks such as repairs, decorating, and building improvements.
- Oversee the Building Management System and ensure optimal operation of heating and lighting.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and caretaking across the academy.

What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in facilities management, ideally within an educational or similar setting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety compliance, with the ability to train others.
- Budget management experience and a track record of cost-effective solutions.
- Technical proficiency in building systems and general maintenance.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
