A well-regarded law firm in Wigan is seeking a Property Litigation Solicitor to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a solicitor with 3-5 years PQE in property litigation to handle a variety of challenging and engaging cases in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage your own caseload of property and land-related litigation work.
  • Handle a broad range of disputes, including:

o Trespass

o Nuisance

o Boundary disputes

o Adverse possession

o Landlord and tenant cases

  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, correspondence, and provide expert advice to clients.
  • Attend court and tribunals to represent clients where necessary.
  • Liaise with clients, opposing solicitors, and third-party professionals to ensure efficient case progression.
  • Maintain strong working knowledge of relevant statutory legislation and case law.
  • Ensure cases comply with the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) and meet all court deadlines.

Requirements:

  • A qualified solicitor with c. 3-5 years' PQE in property litigation.
  • Experience in handling a wide range of land and property disputes.
  • Strong knowledge of property law and civil litigation procedures.
  • Excellent communication and client care skills.
  • Ability to manage your own caseload independently with minimal supervision.
