Web Developer - £28,000-£38,000 - Ipswich - Hybrid
We're seeking a Web Developer for a leading marketing agency on the outskirts of Ipswich, due to growth in their team, as they continue to develop their client portfolio. You'll join an experienced team in an energetic environment and become part of their success story. We are looking for an individual that has HTML, CSS experience at least, ideally having experience in WordPress and PHP. It's also desired to have experience building bespoke WordPress themes and plugins. Is this you?
The Role:
- Utilising PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript to create user-friendly websites, A/B tests and other digital experiences for their clients
- Helping to optimise agency and client websites for maximum speed, performance and user experience across all devices and browsers
- Web Development support/troubleshooting for clients and internal teams
- To be continually aware of emerging technologies, coding practices and opportunities for your own development
The Candidate:
- Proven commercial experience in most of the following: HTML, CSS, PHP, WordPress, Javascript, SQL
- Desirable skills: Custom WordPress theme development, Figma, WordPress blocks, quality control or browser testing
- Excellent communication skills, being able to perform well in a fast paced environment
This role will suit a junior to mid-level developer looking to make their mark in an experienced team, surround themselves with other experienced developers and grasp growth opportunities. You'll have the chance to work with a client base of 150+ and expand your skills.
