We are currently seeking a Production Team Leader / Production Supervisor to join a food manufacturing company based in Wincanton. The role reports into the Production Manager and the successful candidate will be responsible for managing a small team of c20 operatives within the production team. The ideal candidate will have a background in Food / Drink Manufacturing or a similar FMCG environment
Production Team Leader / Production Supervisor Skills and qualifications:
- Experience working within a Food/Drink /FMCG Manufacturing environment.
- Must be organised and happy to work under pressure.
- ·Must enjoy being hands on and enjoy training and developing people.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement Techniques
Production Team Leader Salary and Benefits
- Salary - Starting at £29,406.00 during training, progressing to £31,028.40 after 6 months' probation. Finally earning £33,441.72 at the top end once fully trained
- Shifts - 39 hours per week, AM/PM rotating. 6-2/2-10 with an early finish on a Friday
