Warehouse Picker (Late Shift)

Main Duties

Reporting directly to the Warehouse Supervisor and Warehouse & Distribution Manager. The role of the Warehouse Operative will be to complete tasks which assist in the day to day running of the Warehouse, the up keep of the warehouse, the organisation of the stock and the correct storage of all products.

Key Skills

  • Adhering to good practice within the warehouse;
  • Responsible for correctly picking orders and placing into the correct staging lanes;
  • Making the Warehouse Supervisors aware of any stock shortages or discrepancies with orders;
  • Ensure that any new stock is correctly accounted for and matches the delivery note before being stored in its correct bin-bay location;
  • Ensuring stock write off procedures are followed and that the stock team are notified of any breakages by completing a breakage form;
  • Ensure that all health and safety procedures are adhered to at all times;
  • Being able to prioritise workloads;
  • Flexible approach to working;
  • Assisting drivers as mate as and when required.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Good team work skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good product knowledge.
  • Flexi FLT licence is an advantage.
  • Experience of working with a Warehouse Management System would be advantageous.
